THIS IS WHAT FIMPRO 2014 WAS LIKE

With the goal of encouraging the circulation of music, creating links and networks between the stages in Mexico, Latin America and Europe, FIMPRO brought together national and international promoters and event programmers in Guadalajara from November 6-8.

FIMPRO was held this year at the Art Museum with the goal of strengthening connections between promoters to create opportunities through business rounds, work sessions, contents market, speed meetings and artistic shows.

In 2014 music experienced one of the best moments in the history of entertainment where the rules of the game are in the best interests of everyone—promoters, musicians and the audience. The changes that have occurred in the industry in recent years with the emergence of festivals (some travelling) are the new places where trends are set, new artists are discovered, musicians promote their new releases and new talents are discovered.

Over the course of four days the best in the supply (artists) and demand (promoters, record labels, festivals) came together to establish working relationships, exchange experiences and create commercial and cultural ties between the various elements in the entertainment sector and industry.
